LOGLINE

A story of a friendship between Thai and Japanese warriors in Ayothaya, the old capital of Siam before Bangkok. One was the Army General with excellent two-hands swordsmanship skills from the famous Phutthisawan Sword-fighting Temple School, another is a vagabond Samurai from Japan. Warriors from two nations teamed up to fight against the invaded Spanish Navy in 2167BE. and made their name in Thai history.

SYNOPSIS

When Spanish Army plundered a Dutch ship and stole its ships and cargo. King Song Tham offered to help in negotiating with the Spanish for the return of the ships to Holland but it turned to be a naval fight at Ayothaya (Chaophaya) river with support from imperial Japanese and Dutch militaries.

In this battle, the two friends, Ja-muean Sanphetpakdi, the leader on Siam side and Yamada Nagamasa, the leader of Japanese Samurai army, perform their spacious “two-handed swordsmanship” skills learnt from an authentic “Phutthaisawan” temple school to fight and win over the Spanish Navy.

Don Fernando de Silva, a Spanish Captain, was beheaded by sword. There two Spanish ships were captured, nine dead Spanish shipmen and thirty arrested to living to tell the tales of the legendary one and only two-hands sword-fighting School in Siam at “Phutthaisawan” Templ where the skills passed down from generation to generation until today.
